Vadella Group has strengthened its growing water compliance capability with the acquisition of Second Element, marking the group's sixth operating company and another important milestone in its growth journey.

Founded in 2002, Second Element is a specialist water consultancy delivering Legionella risk assessments, water monitoring and training services to public and commercial organisations across the UK.

Second Element supports clients across local authorities, healthcare, universities, social housing and the wider commercial sector, helping organisations manage water safety risks, meet their legal obligations, and maintain safe, compliant water systems throughout the year.

Headquartered in Lincolnshire, with facilities in Nottinghamshire, Second Element delivers water hygiene and compliance services throughout the East and West Midlands and across the wider UK.

Building a National Water Compliance Capability

Second Element joins Aquarius Water Solutions as part of Vadella's growing water compliance capability, creating greater scale, technical expertise and geographical reach across the UK water hygiene market.

Together, the two businesses provide complementary capabilities across Legionella risk management, water monitoring, compliance management, testing and specialist training, strengthening Vadella's ability to support customers nationwide.

The acquisition represents another important step in Vadella's strategy of bringing together specialist compliance businesses that help organisations keep buildings safe, compliant and operational.
